What time is the web site updated?
The web site is updated every Thursday morning by 8:30 a.m. Central Standard Time.
When are
the deadlines?
Classified ad deadline
is Tuesday at 6 p.m.; we recommend you place your classified
as early as possible in order to avoid long lines and busy
signals.
Display advertising
deadline is Monday at 5 p.m.; placing it earlier will give you
more time to proof your display ad and authorize any changes
or adjustments.
Deadlines are subject to
change for holidays; please call to confirm Holiday
deadlines.
What are your office
hours?
We're open from 8:30
a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. We stay open a little
later on Tuesdays, until 6 p.m., to better accommodate the
classified deadline.

editions of the Quik Quarter Classifieds.
Quik Quarter Acadiana is
the northern edition and covers territory from Lafayette north
to Ville Platte, west to Jennings, and east to the Atchafalaya Basin.
Acadiana's territory includes Lafayette, Opelousas, Breaux
Bridge, Crowley, Rayne, Eunice, Washington, Ville Platte, Sunset, Grand Coteau, Port Barre
and many other towns. Its circulation is 40,000 per week.
Quik Quarter Teche is
the southern edition and covers territory from the gulf coast north
to St. Martinville, including New Iberia, Houma, Thibodaux, Morgan City,
Abbeville, St. Martinville, Franklin, Delcambre, Bayou Vista,
Amelia, Kaplan and many other communities. Its circulation is
20,000 per week.
What's the benefit of

count our online readers by the Unique Visitor measurement
because it's accurately representative of the actual people
perusing the site. We do not use "hits" as a measurement
because it's inherently inaccurate: a page with 10 downloading
graphics can count 11 "hits" on a single pageview. "Pageviews"
is a correct measurement, but it's important to realize that
one person is likely to view several individual pages.
Therefore, we believe the industry-standard "Unique Visitor"
measurement is the only appropriate way to judge visitation.
"Unique Visitors" is an accurate and auditable measurement,
and we don't settle for less than WebTrends statistical
reporting software. Neither should you.
What happens when I cancel an ad?
When a classified ad is cancelled and there are remaining weeks that aren't used, no credit is issued.
Why can't I use certain
words in my ad when renting or selling a home?
Quik Quarter Classifieds
maintains strict compliance with the requirements of the Fair
Housing Act. Terminology in violation of the Fair Housing Act
can result in significant fines for both the paper AND for the
customer placing the ad.
